Do you need to tell my parents/carers that I visited the CYP Haven?
No. It is up to you if you tell your parents/carers that you visited. However, if we are concerned that you may be at risk of harm to yourself or others, we may need to inform your parents or carers.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, if you feel more comfortable being a friend or family with you, then please do!
Who will find out that I came to the CYP Haven?
If you are already under services then your care team will be updated. However, your visits are kept confidential unless we think that you or someone else are at risk of harm. But don’t worry, we will let you know about this first and we will always be open and honest with you!
How do I get referred?
You do not need a referral; you can come when you need to!
Do I need to book an appointment?
No you do not. we are a drop in service so no need to call in advance; just pop in!

The CYP Haven is a safe space where you can talk about your concerns, worries, and mental health in a confidential and friendly, supportive environment. The friendly staff will able to give you advice and support on a wide range of issues. Whatever is bothering you, come and have a chat
